Letter to the Editor: Scott County Councilman and GOP Chairman

Fellow Hoosiers,

I was extremely happy to learn that Erin Houchin had made the decision to run in Indiana's 9th District for Congress!

Erin is a Scott County native who has fought hard for Hoosiers throughout her public service career. She is a strong supporter of our individual rights and freedoms, and fights hard for a more conservative government.

From her time spent with US Senator Dan Coats as Southeast Indiana Regional Director, to our time shared as classmates at Scottsburg High, Erin has always connected with her community and shared in their ideas and beliefs.

In her recently elected role as Indiana State Senator, Erin has proven that she has what it takes to lead the way in drafting bills that strengthen Hoosier businesses and families. She's been a key player in legislation that spurs economic growth, expands rural communications, and strengthens our education system. Her voting record speaks volumes for her character and solidifies the principals that makes her the clear choice for 9th District Congress.
