Letter to the Editor: Morgan County Councilman

I am pleased to offer my support and endorsement of State Senator Erin Houchin in her bid for the 9th congressional district. Morgan County is an important part of the 9th – all but the northwestern most portion of the county votes in the 9th – and it’s important Morgan County have a representative in Washington D.C. that will truly reflect our values. Erin Houchin is that person.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Erin over the past few years, and know her to be a committed conservative, strong on a limited government, solid on life and the Second Amendment.

In addition to her strong conservative credentials, Erin has just the right blend of public and private service, from serving at the grassroots level across southeastern Indiana, to most recently representing six counties as a state senator.

From raising her family, to serving in her church, to her solid voting record in the Indiana General Assembly, I consistently see a person of strong character that reflects Morgan County values. She has my full and unreserved support in her bid to take those Morgan County values to the place its needed most: Washington, D.C.
